Welcome to Vodou Auto Kits home of the VR5.

We started to develop ideas for an MX5 conversion for one of the 'other' Seven Inspired Cars back in March 2009, with the work starting a year down the road in 2010.  The interim period was spent developing a range of parts which we hope will make the MK1 MX5 an affordable option to replace the relatively rare Sierra and Escort donors. The result is the VR5 a strong but light design which breaks the mould of boring home build designs to lose some of the clunky plates and tubes and replace them with some va-va-voom.

We recently released the plans for the VR5 chassis and wishbones for free download, you just need to register so that we can advise builders of any innovations.  The drawings for the wishbones are also included in the bones pack.

Watch this space for new products to be added to the range, including a brand new style of body panels to fit our own VR5 chassis, the panels will  also fit  some of the  'Locost'  chassis, please contact us for details.  We have also designed a complete range of computer designed and tested components such as wishbones and camber adjusters, as well as a fantastic new innovation which will make chassis building child’s play!  Watch this space.
